Using acrylic as a sign surface is usually chosen as an alternative to glass if glass is deemed too heavy or a safety issue. Acrylic such as Perspex is also commonly used for illuminated signs for night lighting.

Acrylic lettering is a great method of signage and is widely available in a whole range of colours, sizes and finishes. It also comes in translucent colours which is great for creating lighting effects.

Acrylic lettering is fantastic for displaying a clean, new, modern feel and for providing a splash of colour which brings your sign to life. It's even possible to use shiny metal-effect Perspex to simulate a range of metals. Because of the advantages of lower costs and maintenance compared to metal, acrylic lettering is used in all kinds of indoor and outdoor signs such as shop front fascias.

Suitable for both internal and external use.

The acrylic letters can then be fitted to the wall in a number methods such as flush fixing for a non-raised finish or fitted with raised wall brackets so that the letters are raised off the wall to create a 3D raised effect.

A flat sheet of acrylic is cnc-cut to the shape of the text or logo and then a strip of acrylic is heated and formed around the shape to create the desired depth - ideal for both internal and external use.

Acrylic logos can then be fitted to the wall in a number methods included flush fixing or fitted with raised brackets if you’d like it to be raised off the wall to create a 3D floating effect.

Painted Acrylic Letters & Logos

Manufactured from acrylic, our painted acrylic letters and logos are bespoke and made-to-order in a range of sizes, shapes and colours. A flat sheet of acrylic is cnc-cut to the shape of the logo or text and then painted to your desired RAL colour or Pantone colour. There are also a range of paint finishes available such as gloss, satin and matt.

Suitable for both internal and external use.

Illuminated Acrylic Built Up 3D Letters & Logos

Manufactured from a range of coloured acrylic, our built up illuminated acrylic letters and logos are bespoke and made-to-order in a range of sizes, shapes and styles. A flat sheet of acrylic is cnc-cut to the shape of the logo or text and then a strip of acrylic is glued around the shape to create the desired depth - ideal for both internal and external use, the acrylic letters are fitted with an L.E.D lighting system which fully illuminates the acrylic making the sign highly visible amd eye-catching.

The acrylic logos can then be fixed to the wall in a number methods included flush fixing for a non-raised finish, or fitted with raised brackets if you’d like it to be raised off the wall to create a 3D effect.

3D Pre-Coloured Acrylic Letters

The built up 3D letters are manufactured entirely from a single pre-coloured acrylic to create a shop sign letter which has the same colour on the front of the letter as the sides to give the impression that the logo is solid throughout.

The depth of each letter usually varies between 50mm - 170mm depending on the height of the letter however this can be made deeper or shallower if need be.

With this style of signage, internal LED illumination can be incorporated into the design to illuminate the letters.

There are a whole range of pre-coloured acrylics which can be used to produce these 3D acrylic letters as well as opal and semi-translucent acrylics to create different lighting effects. 

The 3D acrylic letters can be mounted to the wall with raised wall fixings or mounted flush to the surface if required.

3D Beaded Acrylic Letters

The 3D beaded edge letters can be produced in range of pre-coloured acylic to suit the design of your logo. The face of the logo is slightly recessed and set back from the front of the letter to create a nice boardered outline around the edge as shown in this photo example.

The depth of each letter is usually around 70mm - 140mm depending on the height of the letter however this can be made deeper / shallower if required.

With this design style, internal illumination can be used to illuminate the front of the logo which adds a nice finishing touch. Back-lit halo illumination can be used also which displays a bright cloud of light behind the letter.

By mixing different coloured acrylics you're able to produce a completely different finish.

The 3D acrylic logo or text can be mounted to the wall with raised wall fixings or mounted flush to the surface if required.

3D Acrylic Letters with Boarder

The built up logos with coloured boarders can be produced in a whole range of colours to suit the letter design. The front face of the letter is outlined with a bold boarder with the face of the letter slightly set back and recessed to create a nice boarder outlined around each letter.

The side depth of each shop sign letter usually varies between 70mm - 140mm depending on the height of each letter however this can be made deeper or shallower if required.

With this shop letter style, internal illumination can be used to illuminate the front or sides of the logo which adds a nice finishing touch. Back-lit halo illumination can also be used to illuminate the text from behind.

By using different pre-coloured acrylic you're able to produce a completely different finish compared to the example photo used.

3D Rimless Acrylic Letters

The 3D built up rimless acrylic letters are produced entirely from two pre-coloured sheets of acrylic to create eac letter which has a different coloured face on the compared to the sides of the letter to create a unique signage design.

The side depth of each letter usually varies between 50mm - 170mm depending on the height of each letter however this can be made deeper or shallower if required.

With this typeface design, internal illumination can be used to illuminate the entire letter, both front and sides of the design, and halo illumination can be added to increase the brightness of the logo when mounted to the wall.

There are a whole range of pre-coloured acrylics which can be used to create the 3D logo as well as opal and semi-translucent acrylic to create different effects.  

3D Acrylic Letters with Coloured Vinyl

The 3D acrylic and vinyl letters are usually produced in a white acrylic which then has a coloured vinyl applied to the font of the logo to achieve an exact colour match or digitally printed design. The sides of the logo are typically produced with a white finish which adds a bit of contrast to the design and with this style of logo design, internal illumination can be used to illuminate the entire logo.

The side depth of each letter usually vary from 50mm - 170mm depending on the height of each letter however this can be altered and made deeper or shallower if required.

There are a whole range of pre-coloured acrylics which can be used to create the 3D logo as well as opal and semi-translucent acrylic to create different effects.  

Polished Acrylic Plaque with Chrome Fixings

Manufactured from clear acrylic, the acrylic plaques are bespoke and made-to-order in a range of sizes, shapes and styles. For transparent plaques, a clear Perspex is used for the face of the sign with the logo or text applied to the reverse side to protect it from getting damaged. The logo or graphics can be digitally printed to create a high resolution image or individually cut from a range of pre-coloured vinyl. The plaques can also be manufactured in a range of non-transparent Perspex colours to which vinyl graphics are applied to the face of the sign. For a 3 dimensional plaque, individually cut acrylic or stainless steel can be applied to the face of the sign if you’d like to create a raised 3D logo on your office sign.

All clear acrylic plaques are flame-polished for a super-smooth finish and can the mounted to a wall using a range of fixings including chrome barrel fixings or with adhesive tape, should you wish to hide the fixings. Our acrylic plaques are available in a number of sizes and thicknesses. Acrylic plaques are typically produced in a range of thicknesses such as 3mm, 5mm and 10mm.

Flat acrylic letters and logos can be fitted to many different surfaces providing the surface is clean and grease-free. The surface doesn’t necessarily need to be entirely flat, however this does help and ensures the lettering is displayed correctly.

Acrylic Flush Fixing 

After the acrylic letters are cnc-cut and polished, a commercial-quality double sided adhesive tape is applied to the reverse side of each letter. Upon installation, the protective film which covers the adhesive tape is removed so the letters can be easily fixed onto the surface.

A template is supplied which is placed into position on to the wall which indicates exactly where each letter needs to be positioned.

By using the adhesive tape, it ensures a clean method of fixing and avoids any contact with messy glue. The adhesive tape forms a strong bond between the letters and the wall surface which ensures the letters are firmly fixed for the foreseeable future.

Acrylic Raised-off-the-wall Fixing

After the acrylic letters are cnc-cut and polished, a two part wall bracket (known as a locator) is used to securely fix the letters to the wall. The male part of the fixing is fitted onto the reverse side of each letter and the female part of the fixing is fitted onto the surface of the wall with a small screw and wall plug. Upon installation, a paper template is positioned up onto the wall which clearly marks out where all the female fixings need to be positioned. Then, once all the female fixings are in position, the letters with the male fixings pop into place. This method of installation allows for the sign to be moved at a later date (providing the template is kept).

The fixings ensures a strong fixing for the foreseeable future, however for a more permanent fixing, an adhesive can be used to fuse the fixings together so that they can’t be removed. The distance to which the letters are raised from the wall is between 12mm to 25mm depending on which fixing is used.
